Context
UniVolt is a product for discovering EV charging stations. As a client engagement, I worked on the web application, iOS app, and Telegram Mini App. The core flow is to find a suitable station, review its specifications, and understand how current its availability information is.
The challenge: find a suitable charger
Choosing a station takes more than a pin on a map. Connector type, power, location, and station status all matter. The product brings these details into search, filters, and the station detail view.
My contribution: web, iOS, and Telegram
My scope covered user-facing applications across three channels: the browser, iOS, and Telegram Mini App. The central flow combines a station map and list, search, filters, and detailed station information.
The web interface and Telegram Mini App use React and TypeScript, Leaflet for maps, and TanStack Query for data loading. The native iOS application is built with SwiftUI and MapKit.
A shared catalog and status freshness
The applications access a shared catalog through an API. The product’s NestJS, Fastify, and MongoDB backend consolidates station data and normalizes statuses into a common model.
Status display takes update time and stale-data markers into account. A station is not shown as available when freshness cannot be established. A bundled local catalog provides a fallback when the API is unavailable.
Implemented workflows
The product is live in production. The applications implement station discovery through maps and lists, filtering, and detail views. Users can review charging specifications and data freshness in their preferred environment: the browser, iOS, or Telegram.
Behind the outcomes
This project demonstrates my client development experience across web, iOS, and Telegram. A shared catalog connects the applications, while explicit freshness indicators help users assess station information.
